Collect from official sources
Step 1 · Pick a city and its sources
Download the city's license or tax-certificate file as CSV, then load it in step 2. The professional-license boards are for spot-checking CPAs, realtors, and contractors from the edit form.
Step 2 · Load the source file
Step 3 · Confirm column mapping
Columns were matched automatically; correct any that are wrong. Industry comes from the NAICS code when it maps directly, otherwise from the spec's keyword rules applied to the name and description.
Chains & franchises excluded
About 150 national chains are built in. Add local or regional ones here, one per line; the list is shared with everyone using this register.

Import platforms or campaigns
Paste CSV or JSON, or choose a file. JSON may be the full {"platforms":[…],"campaigns":[…]} structure or a plain list. In CSV, separate multiple ad formats with ;. Rows whose id (or name + category) already exists are updated; the rest are added.

Import records
For rows already in the register's 21-field layout. business_name, city and industry are required, and city and industry must match one of the 7 cities × 10 industries (case-insensitive). Duplicates of existing records are skipped. For raw city license files, use Collect.
Export the deliverable
The spec's deliverable: one workbook with a tab per city, a master sheet, and a rejected-records sheet, all in the 21-field schema.
